Fireplace, independent or wall-mounted indoor heating equipment, uses combustibles as energy source, and has a chimney inside. Originated from heating facilities in Western homes or palaces. Because its fuel is a renewable resource and modernized and improved, it is still widely used in the West, and is especially popular among higher education classes who advocate environmental protection. There are two types of fireplaces: open and closed, the latter is much more thermally efficient.
